Walk-in shower, splashing water, do I need a door?

The corner will definitely be darker, probably darker than ours. On the other hand, you don't really stay in the shower to enjoy the view. We have a spot in the shower, that should be enough.

People also go to the toilet more often than to the shower, if one had the idea to swap the shower and the toilet ;)

I do not find a shower without a door advantageous. Without a door, it drafts when showering (cool wind). Water also splashes out even if the wall is 1.5m long.
