Hi sucksgsh,

despite the outside temperatures prevailing at your place, I consider an electricity consumption of 21 kWh/day to be very (extremely!) high. Was that possibly the consumption for the mentioned 4 days?

Best regards
Thorsten

At an average outside temperature of -7 degrees, 5 kWh per day?
That seemed a bit unrealistic to me.

Errata: You are right. My mistake.

The value is realistic, I had a lapse in reasoning this morning.

Sorry.

Hello. No, it is 20 kWh per day. But it is really freezing cold here too. Currently, it's -13 degrees.

Yes. That fits too! As I said, that was my mistake this morning. Best regards Thorsten

Hi
I am reading with interest because I decided against an air heat pump and chose a gas condensing boiler with a [ST] for domestic hot water.
In the detached single-story 101 m² bungalow with Kfw 70 standard from 2013, I consumed 10,000 kWh of gas in the first year. In the living room/kitchen about 22°C, in the bathroom 23°. Location Voreifel near Euskirchen, about 200m above sea level.
Heating curve slope 0.8 - meanwhile, as an experiment, reduced to 0.6 and shift 4 K. [Estreichtrocknung] is not included.

With the difference in gas price/electricity price of about 1:4, I seem to have made the right decision if the air heat pump does not exceed the factor 1:3 of electricity energy used/heating energy gained. Even if I include the electrical energy used for the pumps and control in the gas heating, which one should do, the air heat pump never pays off.

Or have I overlooked something like maintenance costs? Those occur with heat pumps too, right?
