Hello everyone,

we have already been to the model home park in Fellbach twice and I can recommend it to everyone. Every house has its peculiarities and you can see what you like or don’t like. I would recommend looking at all the floor plans of the houses in the respective park online beforehand and possibly printing them out. We found that some houses did not appeal to us at all, even though we found the floor plan very interesting, and vice versa. If we end up building a house, we will definitely go to an exhibition again to engage intensively with what we like and what we don’t.

We were in Mülheim Kärlich and I was very disappointed.

In one house, you could get the idea to place an L-shaped sofa across a square room without the possibility of seeing the non-existent television.
In another house, the bathtub stood in the middle of the room, with the double sinks attached to this "island," which looked great but had the disadvantage that not even a mirror can be mounted.

I couldn't get any ideas there, but I did, for example, measure walled-in showers to get a feel for them, so that was okay.

For finding ideas, I found my conversations with friends who have recently built much more substantial.

Thank you very much for your answers. So we will definitely tackle this soon, as it seems you get a lot of valuable ideas. And even if you only find out what you don’t like, that often helps you move forward. The tip about the floor plans is great.

How many houses does one "manage" to visit on average during a visit?

Unfortunately, not many in our circle of acquaintances have built yet, so we have to find other ways to get information.

Mülheim Kärlich is really bad in my opinion. Most houses there should be demolished in my opinion. Bad Vilbel is great, Frechen and Mannheim as well. I don’t know more. The latter ones are definitely worth it.

We were in Poing and were overwhelmed by everything..... It didn't do us any good. You see so much. But then again, nothing at all.

So we will go to Wuppertal on Sunday and have a look around. We are looking for inspiration, want to get an impression of the sizes, and see what can be done and obtained when building nowadays. We are very excited.

Regards

Michael
