Hello dear forum community,

we are currently pondering the flooring in our upper floor.
Bedroom, office, dressing room.

We would like to choose a uniform covering.

Initially, we thought of click vinyl. After combing through a few hardware stores and specialty flooring stores, the alternatives mentioned above have been added.

Advantage of vinyl: texture, easy installation, moisture resistant.
Disadvantage: plasticizers in the plastic (although currently harmless)

Advantage of cork: natural raw material, warm foot feeling, pleasant step feeling
Disadvantage: moisture sensitive, surface relatively soft even in the pressed version. (Possibly problematic in the office)

Lindura (brand name, we are open to alternatives)

Advantage for us personally is the best look, pleasant step feeling, natural raw material, moisture resistant.

Disadvantage: relatively expensive in comparison, limited decor.

It would be nice if you could share your experiences with us.

Mineral laminate (Logoclic Xtreme)

According to a Bauhaus employee, it has been on offer for 2 weeks.
Unfortunately no information except the promotional video. The friendly employee could only repeat in a loop that it is mineral, you know, like screed...

We liked the decor, it is said to be a natural raw material and absolutely moisture resistant.

We are open to manufacturer suggestions, especially regarding Lindura and Logoclic Xtreme.

Best regards Fanta

I forgot that the floor should be suitable for underfloor heating, but this should not be a problem with any of the products.

Parquet or floorboards are not an option for us. This floor is indeed wonderfully natural, but unfortunately too delicate (from our personal experience). Although... beyond a certain price, there are certainly extremely hard woods.

Best regards

mineralisch kennt man doch, wie Estrich? What is that? What kind of explanation is that supposed to be? Do you have any prices for your table? Since you said Lindura is relatively expensive. Could it perhaps be something like [Designestrich]?

Hello,
we will lay the Lindura on the ground floor. Living/Dining/Kitchen.
Lindura is a product from Meister. So there are no alternative manufacturers here.
:
Lindura is a natural floor. Built like cork parquet but with a real wood top/deck layer. The price is about 50€/sqm.

For us, however, it is also too expensive for the upper floor and attic (all bedrooms and hallways approx. 120sqm), which is why we will use a cork floor here. The cost is 'only' about 20€.

I just had a look at Lindura, but haven't understood yet what it actually is. Reads like veneer flooring!? How thick is the top layer? At 11mm total thickness, probably not sandable. In my opinion, therefore too expensive compared to "real" parquet. ==> Visually appealing, though!

... What is that actually...

I have exactly the same problem The glossy brochure sounds quite nice. But what it actually is, and how durable the whole thing is, cannot be judged... At least Meister has a pretty good reputation

As Milkie writes, it is a protected product from Meister. A comparable product does not seem to exist so far...

We really like the look TOP and the promised robustness would be a huge advantage compared to parquet from our point of view.

do you want to lay the covering floating on the underfloor heating? Or possibly use contact adhesive. It would be nice of you to post first experiences after moving in. We will only install it in spring... So we still have a bit of time...

We just thought that every decision we make stress-free in advance relaxes us in the hot phase

Best regards
