It's all a matter of setting. But of course also the possibilities of the camera / NVR side. But you can't get 100%, there will always be false alarms.

At our neighbors, they came through the adjoining gardens. So not at all through the suspected access routes.

A few days before the break-in, two women were observed by our neighbors sneaking around our house and looking through the windows. In this case, it was indeed the case that a check was made beforehand.

Hello ypg

Both the police and I drove through the villages after the attack. I saw the 3 men on a street corner. They then ran away. When I entered the street, I no longer saw them. A man was at the other end of the street. I asked him about the three. He definitely ruled out that they passed by him in the last few minutes. He was working in front of his garage the whole time. So the three must have disappeared somewhere in the previous houses. In the meantime, I also know which one. One of the three lives there. He was 16 years old. Well, I did not pursue it further. But I would have expected a little more support from the police shortly after the incident.

To ring the doorbell at a house and find men there does not immediately prove that these men were doing something else 5 minutes earlier. Well, whatever... he must have had his reasons. Don't forget, we are not living in [Tatort], those are movies.

Hello ypg

you have surely also read that one of the boys, after I opened the door and told them: "stop that," replied: "stupid girl, do you want to get punched?" and then all three attacked me with fists?
This is not meant to be police bashing. I was a police officer myself for several years.
And I am also aware that the police are not responsible for the current situation.
But the state insists on its monopoly on violence (which is good and right) but can no longer fully enforce it. At the same time, the state is increasingly taking away my ability to defend myself. practically a protection of perpetrators.
