Hello out there,

We have heard from different sources that from 2013 onwards ventilation systems are mandatory in new buildings...
Can someone please enlighten me???

We now have an offer for a decentralized ventilation system and they are assuming 7 fans due to the floor plan and room volumes.
Does this law even exist and if so, what is it based on?? From a certain room size???

I will ask my architect next week but I won't see him until next week and I'm interested in this now!!!

Unfortunately, I don't know enough about the subject to search myself on the internet and Google wasn't much help

Thanks in advance

According to my information, a controlled residential ventilation system is supposed to become mandatory in the new Energy Saving Ordinance 2012. This was actually supposed to be adopted by the end of the year, but this is now apparently delayed until 2013 and is only supposed to come into effect in 2014.

We would like to install the decentralized fans only in the bedrooms...

Hello,

In your place, I would reconsider that - regardless of the upcoming energy saving regulation. A decentralized ventilation system does not cost a fortune

Kind regards

What do you mean, construction expert?

The company's proposal includes fans in the following places
- bedroom
- child
- child
- guest room
- bathroom
- 2 in the open living, dining, kitchen area

So I can see it in the bedrooms, but in the bathroom you ventilate anyway after showering and in the kitchen too because of the smells, and since my husband is a smoker, he goes out to the terrace every evening and thus also ventilates the living and dining area...

Or am I seeing this too naively??
