Venetian blinds or roller shutters on the south side of the house?

I paid about 2500 euros for three larger [Raffstores] – I paid that for 8 electric roller shutters in total (roughly estimated).

how wide was one of the larger [Raffstores]?

do you know how much extra Raffstores cost compared to roller shutters?

We have 7 Raffstores at our place,
5 pieces 210 cm high and about 180 cm wide
1 piece 210 cm high and about 90 cm wide
1 piece 110 cm high and about 180 cm wide

The extra cost was about €2500 compared to the electric roller shutters. But those had already cost a good €2000 extra before.

For us, it paid off because with the Raffstores we were able to make some window elements fixed. You no longer have the problem of roller shutters that you want/need to clean from the inside. That almost offset the extra cost.

But important:

No Raffstores in bedrooms, ONLY roller shutters work there!

Our neighbor planned poorly with his children’s rooms and in the end had to buy super expensive blackout curtains because his children couldn’t sleep.

That requires a lot of automation too, right? That makes it more expensive again...

Why a lot of automation? Control at the bottom and top - also have nothing in common.
