I currently have a problem with my electrician, after the building expert from [VPH] was here he criticized that the cables were not laid according to DIN 18015-3. In the electrician's order confirmation it says installation according to VDE. Now my electrician claims that DIN 18015-3 is not necessarily mandatory in the VDE. My architect is behaving as if the electrician is his client and not me. Does the electrician have a point and, for example, do data cables not necessarily have to be laid in an empty conduit and electrical cables do not have to be laid 20 cm away from the wall. I would like to change the electrician, but we are in the final phase of the electrical installation and all craftsmen are very busy. Regards Buddy
