That is a "Zimmermannsdach". What was offered to you I know by the term Nagelbinderdach.

I have a few questions here, if I may: How (with what) did you insulate it? And the ceiling to the attic (seen from the upper floor), is it insulated with you or not? And approximately how much did the insulation for the sloping walls cost? (feel free to PM) Our problem now is that we possibly want to insulate the roof in the slope as well to place the controlled residential ventilation there so that there is more space in the utility room, but we only recently decided this. The construction company has the "old" version with the insulation of the ceiling in the upper floor in the offer, hence all the questions.

Thanks in advance!

Which insulation exactly is under the slopes, I would have to check. But it was quite thick and has already done an excellent job this summer.

The attic ceiling is made of concrete. Since the insulation is located under the slopes (warm roof), we did not add additional insulation on the attic floor.

I cannot tell you exactly how much it cost. We basically negotiated it together with the carpenter's roof. The additional cost was - at least as far as I can remember - not particularly high, so we did not hesitate long to do it that way.

This is the only photo (taken from the upper floor through the hatch) that I have on hand before the boards were placed on it (insulation etc. already installed):

Thank you, I think we will do it that way now, the thickness will have to be calculated by the energy consultant anyway to achieve [Kfw 70].

And how do you want to solve that with the stairs?

: The hole looks smaller than it actually is. When the room is eventually finished, a nice space-saving staircase will come from the upper floor hallway. This was planned from the very beginning.
