That individually depends on the height of your ground floor and the construction of the intermediate ceiling. Ultimately, these are estimates from the BUs...
To calculate that, it should be known from where the eaves height must be measured. From the top edge of the finished floor or the top edge of the road surface ;-)

In our development plan, the specifications single-storey + 3.5m eaves and 9m ridge lead to only one possible roof construction. We just have to live with the low knee wall; a dormer would be a solution to increase the square meters, but it doesn't provide a better spot for a double bed :) As is often said here, building a house is nothing but compromises ;)
