Underfloor heating / Questions, temperature control, Calenta 15 DS

Hi,

we installed the Calenta 15 DS gas condensing boiler and connected the underfloor heating to it. Now the desired room temperature is set to 20°C according to the boiler. At the same time, we have these rotary temperature controllers in the rooms, which range from 5°C to 30°C.

So what applies now - if I set the controller in the room to 30°C, will the underfloor heating then also heat up to 30°C? And what about the desired room temperature on the boiler? I rather suspect that if the desired temperature on the boiler is set to 20°C, this is also the maximum temperature I can achieve in the room, right?

You can set the ERR to 30, which means they practically never turn off by themselves (only at 30 degrees). Your heating system now sends out a flow temperature depending on the heating curve that matches the 20 degrees. If the heating system eventually notices that the delta between flow and return temperature is almost the same, then the heating system turns down.

However, the hydraulic balancing is important here again; otherwise, even if the heating is set to 20 degrees, you can have a different room temperature. Keyword: BATHROOM with little heating surface.

Addendum: Actually, a properly adjusted heating system should not need an ERR. Only when strong sunlight causes the room temperature to rise above the desired level should they regulate, which, however, does not really help due to the inertia of a floor heating system.
