Which type of heating would you prefer? The underfloor heating would cost about €8,000 more. Is it worth it?

That depends... If you want to work with low heating flow temperatures (e.g. because of [Wärmepumpe]), then underfloor heating does make sense. Provided it is also properly designed (i.e. designed for the low flow temperatures). For us, it was no question: I did not want the radiators in the way, and [Wärmepumpe] was a given.

if you want to drastically reduce the resale value of your house, take the radiators. there are hardly any reasons left in favor of radiators and against underfloor heating

What is the advantage of underfloor heating? (Besides the fact that I don't have any radiators)? I'm not concerned about the consumption :) It's not that huge.

The radiators severely limit the options for furniture placement. Besides, they don’t look nice either (if you have them, you get used to them). Underfloor heating nowadays has the same status in a house as air conditioning has in a car. You don’t want to live without it anymore – the value of the car/house decreases when selling. If you want to sell only in 20/30 years, houses without thermal insulation, underfloor heating, or other features will no longer be marketable. They will become hard to sell.

Furthermore, there is less convection with underfloor heating, which means less dust is stirred up. Good if you have an allergy. And you have nicely tempered floors in winter. An advantage especially with tiled floors, but other floors also benefit from it. And depending on the heating system, you can run cold water through it in summer and thus lower the room temperature by 1-2 degrees. Not much, but at least a little.
