Hello,

I don’t have to understand that now? Outdoor temperature-controlled, individual room control ....?

A towel radiator, as Yvonne correctly wrote, is intended for towels and by no means replaces an independent heating of the bathroom, nor does it complement it!

Rhenish greetings

Yes, if it is electric, the whole bathroom does not always have to be heated when you just hang a damp towel over the holder. Then the [FB] can remain off.

Do you turn the FB off????? It should actually run with an external sensor, without anything being turned off. Possibly throttle it a bit with the thermostat...

Hello,

Do yourself and especially your wallet a favor and stay away from this setting. If you switch the heating on and off - even just for one room, the power required to adjust the room to the desired temperature is significantly higher than if you let it be regulated by an external sensor.

Saving in the wrong place has never been effective.

Rhineland regards

Neither the bathroom nor the house inside are built. There is nothing to regulate yet. But I can imagine that I might want to have more or less power at the towel holder than the underfloor heating is currently providing? Am I wrong about that?

Hello Emer,

yes, you can use the electric towel radiator both as an additional heater to the underfloor heating or as a single heater during the transition period.

However, these things are rather not designed as the sole heating - especially not if damp towels are lying on them.

I think we will use our [HTHK] exactly as you imagine.

Regards,

Dirk
