Hello everyone,
a quick (hopefully not silly) question: We are currently having a terraced end house built according to the Energy Saving Ordinance 2009. The house is heated with a gas condensing boiler and standard "normal" radiators. We are now considering replacing these "normal" radiators with underfloor heating (throughout the entire house).
Our thoughts on this: 1) The gas condensing boiler is probably more efficient then. 2) We could probably integrate the solar thermal system with the underfloor heating at a later date. 3) We are prepared for a later time and more modern heating concepts (heat pump or similar).
Key points: 1) The costs: 10,000 euros extra is not a small amount of money. 2) The house does not have a KFW-XY rating. So we wonder whether the house is energetically "that old" that the idea of a more modern heating concept already fails on other things than the underfloor heating.
Does anyone have helpful hints on this?
Best regards and thanks,
Perouse2012 PS: Additionally, there is a wood stove (without connection to the heating).
