Have a preparation for the sink made and install a sink from Ikea as an example.

What height do you get with that? It looks very low.

I just wanted to show that you can also use any other piece of furniture instead of standard bathroom furniture. The top edge of the sink is crucial and how tall you are. I have a vessel sink in another bathroom where the top edge of the sink rim is at 93 cm, too high for me because I am short. But that was a renovation where only the base cabinets and the sink were replaced, and I really wanted this sink (13 cm high).

Another option is something like this if you have additional storage and want to make the bathroom feel homely.

This is not the main bathroom. The sink was mounted on a board, to the right there is a semi-open, about 1m wide tall black cabinet, also an Asian piece (longer stays in Singapore came before). So you can make a bathroom cozy if you want, and it doesn’t have to be a gray, smooth wasteland.

I just wanted to point out that you have to pay attention to the height with such cabinets. I have also looked for something like that because I don't want the usual bathroom cabinets in the bathroom, and I always found that they were too low for me. We now have a height of 96 and that is great.

Have been to various furniture stores now and have heard different things everywhere. We're back at the beginning of our problems, can I buy and install any base cabinet for this washbasin? Or does ONLY the manufacturer provide the base cabinets for this model?

How are we supposed to know what kind of model this is? I think you are looking in the wrong place. I quickly looked up our series, and it says something like this: unpolished is, for example, installed or used. Otherwise, you should actually be able to recognize it on site or it should logically be deduced. I also wouldn't look in a furniture store, because they sell furniture best, not sanitary ware.
