Hello Bellanina,

we only want a ground floor, the little tower is out of necessity, as we could no longer fit a bedroom for ourselves on the ground floor. We are currently living in the attic and want to live only on one level for our old age. If we can no longer manage the stairs, we would move into a child’s room.

I already mentioned the storage room upstairs. The children’s rooms are sufficient, since one child will certainly start university at 17 in the summer, the second child shortly afterwards. Then one children’s room will be an office, the other a guest room or alternative bedroom.

The living room furniture should be arranged as drawn, the TV should be on the west wall between the two windows. I also wanted to look outside from the sofa, since the view is very beautiful and unobstructed.

There should really only be the bed in the bedroom and nothing else, as it is at the moment.

The washing machine and dryer are in the utility room.

Thanks and regards

Will these be bookcases? 40 deep? Proper would be 58

The heating is supposed to fit in the utility room?

Interesting. Either very far from the sofa or a crooked viewing angle

And doesn't the chimney flue collide with the upper floor? Shouldn't it extend above it???

Hello Caspar,

The heating is coordinated with our heating installer.

I find the cabinet depth acceptable.

To my knowledge, the chimney does not need to be extended if the distance is more than 1.50 m. However, the appointment with the chimney sweep is on my list.

At the moment, I also look at my TV from an angle at about 5 m distance.

Regards

So my Ikea clothes hangers are all 43cm wide; closet designers have just been building off the mark for years.

So I don’t see anything about 1.5m there.

If I have identified the measurements correctly, then the bedroom should be either 2.81 or 2.76 m long. In any case, there would be no one-meter passage left.

I wrote "almost no wardrobe space". 1.6 m for shoes, jackets, bags, scarves, etc. for 4 people would be too little for me.

I would probably try to use the kitchen as a passage rather than the living area. I would already miss a wall behind the second couch section for coziness (you apparently even have a light strip planned there?), let alone that I would find it great if I were possibly lying on the couch in pajamas and the children's friends want to go to the fridge.

Chimney: For NRW applies.... Within a radius of 15m at least 1m higher than the top edge of surrounding windows plus minus the mood of the district chimney sweep.
