I agree with climbee about the wardrobes, we only hang very few things on hangers and it annoys me that behind my clothes in the compartments there is still almost 20cm of wasted space (or I sometimes stack things behind, which is no fun because it’s hard to reach). So we are also planning wardrobes with reduced depth and will then hang the few things on hangers in front of each other. But it depends on habits. If you hang most things up, having the garments hung side by side is more accessible and organized in a clearer way.
