And I would put the sofa and TV in the kitchen area. Very cozy, but separate from the other living area Cooking/Eating. ;) ;) Kitchen on the upper right side along the 420 cm wall with an island and dining table on the upper left side .. so in the dining/living room area. In between, opposite the stairs, maybe an armchair or perhaps a wall piano etc. Then you would have Cooking/Eating close to the terrace .. nice in summer when grilling.

I find it sensible to have the connections for TV etc. installed in 2 places. This way you remain flexible even later on.

I would also take the 4.20 wall, but now considering the sound system equipment (here almost 5.1 is standard nowadays, I am also thinking about where the cable for the speakers actually comes out, where the home theater receiver etc. will be placed. Shouldn’t there be not only the obligatory TV socket but also a network connection as well as an HDMI connection coming directly out of the wall where the TV will hang (will it hang?)

At the same time, I would also put a TV socket on the long side.

But keep in mind: If it’s only a TV socket without all the stuff I mentioned above, you’re still flexible. But if it’s all the stuff I wrote above, then you’re done with flexibility later on! :)

We have laid a large empty conduit to an alternative point..so we can simply pull "everything over." Also consider audio empty conduits for sound (with us atmos 11.2.4). As a tip, for the TV, provisionally laid DP as well, not just HDMI. NW, LWL etc. should be there anyway..

I think it always depends on personal preferences. In my opinion, a sofa in front of a window or a balcony door is out of the question. Firstly, I want to be able to look outside when sitting on the sofa. Secondly, you don’t feel as comfortable with the sofa by the window. Often it’s only subconscious, but I definitely notice it. You kind of feel unprotected.

I would also place the TV on the 1.6m wall.
