I could name you off the top of my head numerous cities/municipalities where your "legal" change is not known :D Basically, breeding seasons must be observed; the only exception: if it is shrubs that are regularly trimmed. The respective tree protection statute usually always applies. Rhenish greetingsI once read about a (legal?) change. According to that, felling trees in private areas is allowed year-round, provided no one is nesting in them. However, this is probably a regional regulation.
