Hello everyone,
I am just at the very beginning of my plan to take on a single-family house as a shell construction. Since I also need a suitable plot of land, I am currently traveling a lot and looking at many options. Now I have found a really nice plot; I like the location and dimensions very much. However, there is a rather deep (3 to 4 meters) row of several closely spaced conifer trees at the back of the property, which are estimated to be 4 to 7 meters high. The trees take up a lot of space on the one hand, but also block a lot of light on the other.
Do I have any way to find out before buying whether I am allowed to cut down the trees? Instead, I would like to plant a hedge or a row of narrow, tall-growing shrubs there. Can someone tell me the best way to proceed now?
