We currently have the carpenters at the house, and at first it rained heavily all the time, and now that the weather is a bit nicer, there is "Corona". We will have a celebration with friends and acquaintances simply later. After all, we have a responsibility towards our guests, and I cannot rule out that the virus could spread with us then. BTW: I have never been to a topping-out ceremony so far, and I am probably a bit "unbiased" there.I also think that a topping-out ceremony can probably take place in June. By then, the matter will be settled. A topping-out ceremony is a nice tradition, and especially among carpenters, the tradition is still upheld. Do you really want to live in a house where there was no topping-out ceremony, no topping-out speech, no shattered glass, and where you didn’t drive in the last nail? My topping-out ceremony was over 20 years ago, but I can still remember the day exactly.
