Hello,
It saves the overpressure channels or grilles in the doors or large gaps under the doors. The air has to be able to flow somehow between the rooms, otherwise you would have to install supply and exhaust air in every room. The air has to go somewhere, otherwise it doesn't work.
You can't see it, only if you look at the door frame from above. And I do that rather rarely...

OK, now that you mention it... why did you do that? So you save supply/exhaust air ducts? Or does it have a deeper meaning?
