Splashes from cooking (sauce, grease splatters, etc.) leave stains on oiled parquet that definitely cannot be removed if they are not wiped away IMMEDIATELY. We also love parquet, but for this reason among others, we avoided it in the kitchen (+ bathroom + hallway). I already found it bad when the grease from grilling ruined the wooden terrace.
We have tiles with a wood look, even tactile with texture.
So far, everyone has been fooled by them; the chimney sweep even wanted to refuse the fireplace approval because of the missing glass plate.
Wood look but the advantages of tiles, especially because of the underfloor heating.
Hello Icemann
I am also considering laying tiles with a wood look, could you maybe send a photo and what should I pay attention to?

So I can highly recommend the laminate series Silent CT from Haro (we have Tritty 100 Kastanie Impresso Gran Via)! It has adhesive strips under the planks and is therefore very quiet!
We will install vinyl from Classen, Neo Wood 33, floating in the main room (open kitchen-living area). There is a new subfloor for this flooring, it is suitable for underfloor heating and looks good.
So we plan, God willing, to lay tiles on the ground floor and laminate on the other floors [OG] and [DG]. On the ground floor and [OG] we will have underfloor heating and on the [DG] only radiators. It might be that we also decide on underfloor heating for the [DG], let's see.
