There are different qualities of everything, and they simply cost both for tiles and for vinyl.

You also have to consider whether a higher price automatically brings an increase in quality. Ultimately, the quality only becomes apparent after several years – it can hardly be recognized from a sample piece.

Right. More price does not necessarily mean more quality. However, there are floor coverings that are fundamentally approved for commercial construction. They already have a completely different usage class.

We have flooring of the highest usage class and it has been extremely durable so far. The price doesn't say much at first, a look into the datasheets is worthwhile.

Are the potential emissions from vinyl in bedrooms even concerning if there is a controlled residential ventilation system? At what air exchange rate should the ventilation be operated in the first two years in a new building to be on the safe side regarding air pollutants? In addition to vinyl, there are also paints, chipboards, adhesives, etc.
