Hello everyone,
since the soldier course of the bricks would not hold on two of our windows otherwise, our site manager has now equipped long concrete elements with cut-out bricks and then installed them as a long element. It looks very good from the outside.
However, I have noticed that the elements are additionally fixed to the lintel with two anchors besides the support. I will definitely ask again to have the PU elements installed more neatly here, without gaps.
The real question now is these anchors. Are they problematic as a thermal bridge? Although the cross-section is relatively small, according to my understanding there is no insulation between the outside air and the interior wall here.
Thank you and best regards
