With the supply temperatures possible with gas heating systems, I consider it quite possible to feel the heat. Of course, once it is set to 30°, no longer.

With us, you can actually feel with tiled floors when they are completely cold. However, only in comparison to heated tiles. (So where the heating is on, you don't feel any unpleasant warmth in contrast.) We have this "problem" in one or two rooms that are well heated from adjacent rooms.

Yes, of course. Same here with us. But I don't notice the power loss, or the opposite. I feel that the floor is warm or stays cold, but only the next day or in three hours. There is no spontaneous activity.

So for us, the floors are always the same temperature. Why are they sometimes warm and sometimes cold for you?

For example, we have three heating circuits in the kitchen, dining, and living areas... but everything is open. Counting the open hallway, there are four heating circuits. It may be that the valves are set differently, but regardless: the thermostat in the living area is set higher than in the kitchen because the air in the room should be warmer when sitting on the sofa than during active cooking. So the kitchen stays cold, at least the floor, because the temperature has been reached.

Interesting discussion :-) In our current rental apartment, we have exactly the same problem, and we will endure it like this through the winter. In the house, a central thermostat is planned downstairs in the living/dining and kitchen area for several heating circuits. Actually liked the idea quite a bit. I’m curious to see if it will be a good idea.
