No, not with the refrigerator. I also planned to get an Ikea kitchen; that's what I planned after that. If you only want 60 cm cabinets, it's okay for planning. Ikea, for example, doesn't have 90 cm drawers, but 80 cm ones. Also, I want a separate refrigerator... With assembly by Ikea, I would end up at about €8000. Then a colleague bought an Ikea kitchen and installed it himself. He spent 3! days on the wall cabinets because they have a lousy function. The interior carousel for a corner cabinet already looks like it’s sagging when you see it in the showrooms... no pot will have a happy place to rest there. Now we ordered a branded kitchen from KA, better equipment and quality for €3000 more. I would recommend KA to everyone... but you should look closely at the salesperson— not all are good.

Oh, I forgot: I myself have now spruced up my old kitchen with some kitchen furniture. I can hardly get the 80s drawers aligned evenly; the material sags, meaning the drawers, depending on whether you put heavier things inside. It should also be mentioned that the quality has unfortunately changed for the worse over time. I probably got the good one, my colleague in 2012 the worse one... If it's an Ikea kitchen, you should make sure that the individual cabinets are connected better than intended... otherwise they shift over time.

So, we have also planned an Ikea kitchen. We will assemble it ourselves. Except for the wall cabinets, I don't find it that dramatic. But we won't get wall cabinets anyway. The seller also advised us to secure the cabinets separately. We won't get a carousel either. I haven't looked for a refrigerator yet, but I don't see why the other appliances shouldn't fit. What doesn't fit with the refrigerator? As for the quality, I would say they are comparable within the price range to kitchens from other manufacturers. Neither significantly better nor significantly worse.

So far we have been at [KüchenAktuell] and there we were advised to first have the building permit secured. And now we have that. Actually, we wanted to have a kitchen island, but we probably don’t have enough space for it. Otherwise, the living room would have had to be smaller, but we definitely didn’t want that. Now we have an appointment at [KüchenShow] in Sieg on Thursday... Yesterday I tried planning the kitchen at IKEA. I didn’t find it easy at all. When you go to IKEA, they don’t really plan together with you, do they? I don’t really like that, my fear is too big that something might go wrong. If we choose one from IKEA, we would have the kitchen assembled.

You don't have to. We also have a different refrigerator in, as well as all other appliances not from IKEA.

But: for the same price you can get other kitchens that offer more storage space.

I'm really interested now
did you improvise there, possibly modify something, or did it work without any problems: refrigerator in refrigerator cabinet?
