So I myself am an electrician and even obtained my master craftsman certification on top of that. I personally do not know this program. I come from Germany and according to a Google search, it is a Swiss manufacturer. There can always be premature defects from time to time. Now the question is, what is connected to the switch or what is being switched with it. It could also be due to too large a load or LED ballasts/drivers that have a short high inrush current, which a normal two-way switch does not like. check the load that is switched on with the switch or have it checked by an electrician. If that is the case, any newly installed switch will not have a longer service life. But it could also simply have been a lazy dog that gave up after 3 years. Regards, timo
