Hello everyone,
we need your advice and support regarding the grout in the ground floor of our house.
In our ground floor, tiles from the company Caesar, Easy Root Nacciola were installed.
The grout was done with a flexible joint in anthracite. Overall, the floor looks really great.
However, in a few places the flexible joints are not anthracite but rather turn into a light gray. The tiler told us back then that it was cement haze (or dirt or dust from the house construction) and that it would go away again over time. We should clean the tiles thoroughly with cement haze remover anyway, then it would work.
Unfortunately, in some places it is still gray.
Therefore, I wanted to ask you if you have had similar experiences and how you got the haze out of the joints. Maybe with a special grout cleaner or a steam cleaner?
I had briefly considered using grout color to make everything uniform, but I am afraid that might go wrong or not look good.
I look forward to exchanging ideas with you and also to tips and advice. If needed, I can also send photos.
Best regards,
Micha
