The building authority rejects the building application because the house is planned too far back

Why should they not be?

Again. Your contracting party is obviously the construction company, not directly the planner. Of course, the construction company is responsible to you for the contractual service, whether it is provided in-house or outsourced.
With the mindset "The construction company can’t do anything about it," you open the door wide to passing the responsibility back and forth with your contracting party.
"Excuse me, Mr. dynaudio79, that was messed up by the civil engineer/mason/electrician/plumber/carpenter. That’s not our fault. Your problem."

Of course nothing. Neither can you.

Even though I understand your anger, I would keep a low profile, you do not have the building permit yet. And as I know the authorities, they stopped at the first mistake and if the revised one comes now, they will start over and find other mistakes.

We know the construction company very well and have been able to mediate many orders over the past few years, and everyone was thrilled. Not satisfied but thrilled! Now we are unlucky that there is a new planner, otherwise there would be absolutely no problems. It is understandable that one then feels frustrated, right? But not with the construction company!

I believe what the fellow forum members want to point out is that your construction company selected the planner and apparently tolerated the poor work for a certain period. Especially when the poor work is due to being overwhelmed and/or overloaded, the construction company naturally bears some responsibility -> keyword resource management and workload control. Of course, this only applies if the planner was employed by the construction company? That is not entirely clear to me at the moment.

That does not mean that your construction company will do poor work. But it does mean that you should remain vigilant regarding your construction company. Because regardless of the tragic circumstances, your construction company tolerated or did not notice this unsatisfactory situation for a certain period.

Shifting the house 3 meters in the plan and adjusting the associated dimensions should not be a problem in the age of CAD. Do you already have the new plan? The delay is frustrating. Go personally to the building authority; the people there are willing to talk. Maybe they will even give you a belated wedding gift. By the way, [noch ALLES GUTE zur Vermaehlung].

The problem is that the planner told the construction company that we were not responding quickly enough and were very difficult customers. She swallowed that because it sounded so convincing that they did not doubt it. Meanwhile, it has become so that she justifies delays and errors like that with all other customers as well. Now they have naturally become alert and have started researching.
