Hello everyone,
my next project is the construction of a wooden terrace roof.
My idea is to build a roof system that I can slide open. Maybe even just individual panels, to let the heat build-up escape briefly.
Has anyone ever implemented such a roof or has concrete ideas about it, so we could exchange thoughts?
For example, there are aluminum lean-to pavilions with sliding systems in hardware stores, but these systems are simply built too plainly for me. With our wind here, that would immediately push the rain through.
I would be happy to receive answers and information. If you need more details from me, I will gladly provide them.
Best regards
