Yes, maybe. But it would be a small terrace roof if the semi-detached house is 7m wide, the roof has to have a 2m distance from the boundary, and may only extend 1.5m in front of the outer wall. 5m*1.5m=7.5m² is certainly exempt from approval. On the other hand, even this roof might no longer be considered subordinate, since its width exceeds 2/3 of the outer wall. Although that doesn't really matter because a wall (and in the case of the terrace roof, a fictitious wall is assumed) that is no longer than 5m anyway only triggers a 2m deep distance area (§5, para. 7, last sentence).
