Table, chairs, sofa... where on earth to buy?

Relatively thin particle boards with white [Dekor]. We had a sample folder with over 100 [Dekoren] at home, but I prefer it more unobtrusive.

The doors are easy to handle due to the thin boards (8mm). The stability is ensured by the frame.

I really like the 80/80. Which tile is that exactly, if I may ask?

Nuovo Corso Tuscany Gris. Super easy to care for, this color!

I have two expensive models where this works poorly. The feet of the chairs are too flat to trigger the sensors, but high enough to stop every third passage...

Chairs are unfortunately expensive
But if you look a lot, also outside of furniture stores, you can find a chair for around 100€.
It also looks good when you mix many old chairs. Often you can easily spruce them up with a new coat of paint, reupholster, or bring them to a high gloss with furniture polish. You don’t need an old timber-framed house for that, even in a modern new build it’s a way to create something individual.

I think I need to revive this thread.
My great Kare chairs are breaking. Not the frame, not the upholstery... the faux leather is coming apart. It’s all flaking off. Where does that come from? Should I have oiled them regularly? My husband thinks it comes from the zippers on my pants (at the bottom), since I often put one leg up...
Well, whatever: new chairs are needed. Reupholstering myself is not an option because of the shape.

And now everything without sitting tests :cool: Well, I’m already familiar with the dimensions and angles that matter. I find cantilever chairs very comfortable. But somehow I can’t decide. I’ve already ended up with the Dutch suppliers...

Does anyone have experience with the cheap velvet covers? Is velvet velvet? Or is there cheap velvet that isn’t really velvet but looks like velvet (velour fabric)? Like how eco-leather is now the new word for faux leather, but there are apparently differences there too. I haven’t been up to date with this stuff since Corona :(
