Evening,

my barrier-free planned bungalow is now getting the doors. A T30 fire protection door is planned as access to the garage. I had the garage slab made slightly higher on purpose in order to later bring the screed of the residential building and the garage to one level.

The frame is equipped all around with a seal. Has anyone installed something like this at home or has experience with it? Maybe even a photo?

I'm a bit afraid that the frame could become a tripping hazard o_O

I can take a picture for you tomorrow I have a Hörmann t30 steel door the frame at the bottom should be about 2-3cm high.

But there are also ones without a bottom edge

Great :)

Without a door frame at the bottom would also be my favorite, but then the door wouldn’t be sealed at the bottom anymore, or am I mistaken?

Presumably like with Klima class doors with drop-down seal sealing.

Has someone here installed a retractable seal by any chance?

We have a door with a drop-down seal to the garage. At the bottom, it rests on the tiles.
