We have wired each socket outlet with 5 circuits in star wiring, so that switching can be quickly retrofitted. Which switchable sockets I have used very intensively so far:

- Portafilter, for preheating
- Floor lamp in the living room
- Air purifier kitchen
- Decorative lighting (Christmas)

the rest rather sporadically

Great. Thank you very much for the detailed description. What exactly are "switch actuators with power measurement"? Could you please explain that once? How can I picture that?

The actuator not only switches the load (e.g. socket with device) but also measures the current on the switching channels. This way, for example, you can determine whether your washing machine or dryer is still running and have yourself notified when they are finished. If you don’t have a separate media control, you could also use it to detect whether, for example, a TV is on and, depending on the position of the sun, close the blinds or dim the lights in the evening. There are hardly any limits to your imagination.

Uh, each individual socket with five wires? What is that supposed to be good for? Either it is switchable or not, but in both cases only three wires are needed. Or do you want to have three-phase current everywhere (able to)?

We have 3-conductor sockets everywhere; each socket gets one conductor. What is not switchable has been bridged at the terminal strips. If it ever needs to be switchable, I don’t have to unscrew the socket but can easily change it at the terminal strips. The extra cost for material is also manageable. Standard is 2 non-switchable, 1 switchable

btw. we wired everything with 5 conductors anyway, so the few euros for copper don’t really matter anymore
