Hello, stovetops usually require three-phase power. If you don’t know which cable you need for that, it’s better to have an electrician do it. Also consider that you might want to have "normal" sockets on your island as well. Therefore, you should have those installed at the same time (or have someone install them). If you still want to do it yourself, also think about the circuit protection for the sockets, turn off the relevant breakers before working, and check again to make sure there is really no power on the line!

Gross nonsense on your part ypg....just as Bieber described it and no other way, it is also a matter of a few minutes to lay the cable under the insulation as long as there is no screed yet...

To be on the safe side, you can also use NYY cables without protective conduit

I'm not an electrician and have a huge respect for electrical stuff, but I've heard that the line has to be adjusted to the ambient temperature and the highest possible flow temperature of the underfloor heating. Is that so?

Well, as a confessed electricity coward, I would leave something a bit tricky like that to the electrician.
