Good evening everyone!

I am currently struggling with the bathroom planning and I need to make a decision soon so that things can move forward. I have received some proposals from my bathroom planner, but I am not really convinced by any of them yet.

For your information: The room measures 3.51 m (= window/door wall) x 3.75 m, no sloping ceiling. The adjacent room visible is an additional shower bathroom (shower, toilet, sink), this room is located under a sloping ceiling.

I am simply attaching the variants I have (sorry that they are not "high-gloss presentations"...), unfortunately I cannot upload variants 3 and 4 as image files, sorry. So, now I would simply like to ask for your opinions/assessments/advice :-)

Thanks in advance for your time!

Best regards, Wulf

Hi,
how about the classic T-solution?
Ours has almost exactly your dimensions.

Andreas

Hi Andi, thanks for your floor plan! The T-solution was already a topic, in fact it was the first approach, I’m attaching a sketch; I would have to remove the bidet with that solution though. However, I was advised that due to the pipe routing in my case it would probably be better to swap the sink and the tub (so the tub in the middle on the T-wall), plus I would have more light from the window at the sink.

What are your experiences so far with this solution, would you do it the same way again? :-) Do you have the shower partition wall up to the ceiling or not quite, so it feels a bit more "airy," and is the distance between sink and tub sufficient for enough freedom of movement?

Thanks & best regards, Wulf

Hi,
we still have to build the house, then I can tell you more... ;-)

But we currently live in a house that also has a T-shaped bathroom. See below. It is quite a bit smaller and actually works fine that way. A bit more space between the sink and the bathtub would be nice, which we have now planned. But basically, that is already sufficient. A bidet is naturally a bit more complex with a T-solution, but that was never up for discussion for us.

Based on the experience with the current T-solution, we said right away that the new house should have it the same way.

Best regards,

Andreas

Hello Andi,
the shower in the version you showed is too small for me.
Even if I might be annoying some people with this, I would like to draw your attention to our L-variant: . It offers a significantly larger shower area. We are still absolutely satisfied with it.

your L-solution is great, we also liked it very much! :-)

But we discarded it again because the wall where the sinks are attached simply becomes a few crucial centimeters shorter. That pushed the sinks too close together for us. My wife and I want really old-fashioned, conventional, separate sinks. And that requires some distance between them.

Your drawing is not fully dimensioned, but estimating I would say your shower is 140 cm deep, which is only 15 cm more than ours.

But maybe it's something for the OP!

Best regards,

Andreas
