The development is supposed to start gradually now. The development agency has now issued, among other things, a traffic situation plan. Although we are still quite at the beginning of our planning and have not yet signed with any company regarding the house construction, as of today we have planned to place a semi-detached house to the east next to the house (border development). On the current traffic situation plan, the streetlights are now also marked, among other things. As it appears to me, the planned streetlight is exactly where our driveway would be. What should I do now? Contact the development agency directly or first choose a company and then approach the development agency together with them? Is there even a possibility that the streetlight can be relocated? Or do I have to plan around it, or will I then have a streetlight right in the middle of the driveway??? I am attaching a section of the plan here...

To me, it looks as if the development of the property of the row of houses is fixed to the right side. That means: in the development plan it would be stated that each property would be accessed at the lower right, the properties at the upper left side. This is not uncommon in a new development area, that it is fixed like that.

I am surprised that the lanterns on both sides of the street are almost directly opposite each other. I know it more staggered.

According to the development plan, it does not matter on which side the garage is placed. However, a garage may only be placed on one side each...

Just give the development authority a call and explain to them that the streetlight would be standing in the planned driveway. Maybe they have a simple and pragmatic solution for you. If not, you can still give it more thought. But simply asking nicely never hurts. People who speak can be helped.
