I have also heard this several times, that the kitchen price for the furniture parts does not remain the same if you remove the electrical appliances.

Of course, it’s always a question of how much courage you have to just stand up and say, "Well, then not." At the moment, you should be in a relatively good position, the new construction has just collapsed and if you’re not building new, you don’t need a new kitchen.

And that you have to be careful with what you compare when making comparisons. Well, that’s the nature of comparisons, they have to make sense. If you sit down for half an hour and save 50 EUR as a result, then you have an hourly wage of 100 EUR net for that period. Nobody earns that, truly nobody here with working for a living ;)

I have a pretty good overview of that, I’m almost so well-versed in the subject that I know what each letter means. The kitchen builder/planner is welcome to add a bit on top for the appliances, but a 50-100% markup with the reasoning that it’s the recommended retail price is already ridiculous, especially since the kitchen planner in the next town offers you a better price than on Idealo, even though you’re not even buying the kitchen from him.

You have to be careful not to make a naive calculation here. You don’t just have the effort of price comparison, but you also have to receive the packages (freight companies usually come during working hours and provide wide delivery windows), possibly store them temporarily (in the rental apartment?) and transport them to the construction site. Of course, you have a warranty from the manufacturer, but they won’t uninstall the devices from your kitchen and reinstall the repaired device. You also won’t get an introduction to the device. It has to save you significantly more than 50€ for this to be a good deal.

Back then, when buying the kitchen, we first swallowed hard after hearing the total price and then asked what the price would be without the electrical appliances. Depending on the device, there was of course a difference compared to the individual purchase prices, but this was almost entirely explained by the installation, such as adjusting the front panels. In the end, we would have saved an absolutely laughable amount; even the tip given to the people from the shipping company for carrying the washing machine into the basement instead of placing it at the front door as specified would have been higher. So by all means, do the math yourself, but the existence of the internet has meanwhile also become known in kitchen studios, and therefore the "special discount for purchasing all electrical appliances" discount no longer applies if the electrical appliances are not taken.

Maybe you should just buy the entire kitchen from him if he offers you the appliances so cheaply? That would be fair and everyone would benefit?
