Hello everyone,
we are currently wondering whether the "rubble" from the wood stove in the living-dining room should be kept or if we should tear it down, lay the new floor further and prospectively place an "efficient small stove." The stove is not affected by the upcoming regulation, so it may continue to be used. Does anyone have a similar thing and can report whether it is effective or if its operation is even counterproductive and it pulls the warm air out of the room? The chimney and exhaust are so large that Santa Claus could fit through.
This is how it looks. The left row of tiles would be removed, as well as this bench on the left. Or completely removed.
I am curious about some experiences!
Thanks
