Possibly in vacuum bags and then into the box?

if, then with vacuum device and packed as a cold (because dry) diving suit, yes. the warmer you pack something, the more moisture is inside. a vacuum cleaner is enough and pulls the air out of the bag

I think it's awesome, but I don't understand it :D Why does it work for you when it doesn't work for others? Why does nothing rust with you? You also store relatively sensitive things there. Does anyone have an explanation for this? There is no better cellar substitute than yours :D

but the cold roof stores all things dry, somewhere between -20 to +50 degrees. The cellar also, between 15-22 degrees

We have been living in our house for almost 5 years now. Everything is still dry and rust-free in the cold roof. We even store our box of drill bits up there. The drill itself is also stored there, by the way (in the cardboard box!). Neither the drill bits nor the machine are in any way affected! One summer I forgot a few drill bits outside under the patio roof for a few weeks... they had started to rust. I am a bit surprised about that too... I can’t explain how it works either. We have a temperature/humidity sensor in the roof, which shows a history between -11 and +40 degrees C. The humidity ranged between 29 and 95%.
