I would align the two bathroom windows, making the utility room window at the front the same height as the WC window, in the west, omit the utility room window (that probably belonged to the design before the change?), then make the children's room windows as wide as the terrace doors. The stair window somehow doesn't fit – possibly with 2 small ones like the WC window or a shape like a narrow terrace door? Stairs: wood is more conservative in my opinion, steel more modern. Be careful that the technology is installed in the upper plan corner of the utility room!

How about a steel stringer staircase with wooden steps? That is our current favorite, but we are not sure yet.

But that's exactly what swings so terribly

Such a staircase has also already been offered to us. Solid wood steps or laminated steps

My favorite is reinforced concrete, because of the acoustics, in case that is still up for debate. Wooden stairs are still too loud for me.

The second window in the utility room is naturally omitted, since the technology will probably be placed there anyway. The two bathroom windows on the ground floor and upper floor cannot be fully aligned. This is due to the desired bathroom layout, which seems more important to us, e.g. not placing the window directly in front of the toilet. The ground floor window will be perceived differently anyway because of the shelter. Positioning the technology in the utility room is a good tip and only makes sense that way.
