My TV forgot all settings last time.

Do you have switches right next to the sockets, or rather easily accessible?

When you turn off your TV, does it forget the settings? Interesting! Switch next to the socket? Would that help? Then I would also unplug it. We have the switches for the sockets near the light switches.

No. When I disconnect it from the power for a week. And do you always switch it off after watching TV?

Yes, always before going to sleep. And it stays off as long as it is not needed.

A television that is continuously plugged in standby mode all year round consumes about one euro worth of electricity.
