When will we actually get it presented?

Currently, we live in a maisonette apartment. Living room upstairs. Bedrooms downstairs. We cope with the noise level. You also have to consider all the houses with air spaces or galleries.

But of course, a separate stairwell is quieter.

Nevertheless, I also prefer an open design. I somehow prefer to get from the sofa to the bedroom without feeling like I am leaving the living spaces through a closed stairwell. But that is a very individual feeling.

What else comes to mind... we are barefoot and sock-walkers. For us, the entrance hall (with basement access) will be a closed area. Shoe area. Once you enter the living areas, it’s a sock area. (In winter, Birkenstock and Adiletten are also allowed). That’s a nice separation and I don’t have to walk socked or barefoot through the entrance area where you sometimes stand in street shoes.

what do you mean by the position of the photographer / placing the breakfast table? Is that referring to the example photo?

It is a bit crazy and will generate headwind, I think.

This refers to all sample photos or model house-experienced situations that motivate prospective builders to the apparent must-have of a sculptural staircase. In everyday life, no one ever perceives it again from the optimal camera perspective.
I have always wanted to see a triangular castle Plumpudding Castle here. Only stair steps in the sock area generate headwind here.

I grew up (as an only child) with an open staircase in the dining area, had an open staircase to the dining area in the terraced house, and now (childless) have a view like in the example fino (?) with the same staircase. If a child should move into our house, then the room with a guest toilet is at the front entrance. I don’t know it any other way, don’t know closed hallways or staircases, and don’t want to have them either. Children's rooms can be easily relocated to the entrance area if upstairs only the office area or parents' wing is accessible.

Haha, for a moment I envied you, as I initially read "Eisdiele" out of the corner of my eye.
