All right. Fertilized evenly. Where there is more, more growth and darker green. How do you fertilize? If inexperienced, best with the Einhell fertilizer spreader for the hand. Affordable and okay for us home gardeners. My friend is a professional and also finds it good for commercial use.

I fertilized by hand and believed I had fertilized evenly. And honestly, I was not aware of how strong the fertilizer is. I wanted to buy something anyway, since our winters are harsh and maybe salt can be spread as well.

can you send me a link via PM showing exactly which stuff you mean? when I search for Vorox, I find herbicides that explicitly state they do not contain glyphosate...

I meant Vorox Direct or Roundup Speed. But. I looked at the descriptions, horsetail is considered uncontrollable for both products. It says so explicitly. Ask a farmer if they know anything. Or a professional gardener.

Payday, just read on the websites of mein schöner Garten. In short, it is hardly controllable, but retreats if the soil is loose, so dig deep, possibly work in sand, and if the soil is rather alkaline, apply dolomite lime to the bed. But be careful, that also kills rhododendrons. Pansies also prefer acidic soil.
