I mean all air and water pipes that run through the walls.

If you hear the humming, I would go to the basement to the air-water heat pump to listen more closely there. My tower is also on a specially decoupled base. Still, I can hear the tower in the bedroom with the doors open. My wife does not hear it. I then close the utility room door and have installed an "air seal" at the bottom. Then it is quite quiet, almost inaudible. In the immediate vicinity, the tower is quite noticeable during the cold seasons.

Additionally, sounds are extremely subjective. Ventilation is another example. What is a noise for one person that keeps them from sleeping, is barely noticed by another. And yes, we also have a door with soundproofing to the technical room. When it is closed, there is basically silence. That’s why you can easily distinguish what is "airborne noise" and what is "structure-borne noise".

We also have a sealed door in the basement. The heating runs at full capacity and I can't even hear the heating when I stand in front of the door in the basement in the technical room.

It cannot be airborne noise, as I said – I don't hear anything from the basement below... Somehow it comes through the walls or through the floor... Of course, it could ultimately also be due to improper decoupling. I will have my heating engineer take a look at it over the weekend – since he has to replace something on the ventilation unit anyway. Maybe he has an idea.
