how is the status of your construction project after a few months? Have you found a suitable solution for yourselves in the meantime?

I ask because we are facing the task of wanting to build healthily ourselves - i.e. at least without Styrofoam and mineral wool, ideally a wooden house, an HRB is also acceptable...

I see my account was not deleted despite a written request. Because you have a genuine interest and are just as inexperienced as we are, I want to respond,

We gave our floor plan to an independent structural engineer for drawing so that we can get cost estimates from providers nearby. However, we have surely found one very close who can build the desired house up to 130sqm for our budget. For this, we are willing to make a compromise if necessary and accept that the solid wood is glued spotwise with white glue under high heat. We also want to get an offer for Rombach wood, as this still convinces us the most. We are completely away from log construction. Thanks to our structural engineer, we now know that a house without insulation with Poroton and good materials is much cheaper, and we could even afford 180sqm. For us, the size is unimportant compared to the feeling of living in a wooden house, so we have now planned a bungalow of about 126sqm.

Hello everyone, we are planning to build in Germany with Holz100 or Nur Holz. Has anyone built with these companies? How do they differ in price and quality?
