so we did it like this, planned a floor plan through an architect and then adapted it to the plot. With the floor plan planning and the features we desired, we approached various home builders and asked them for a quote. Among others were prefabricated house manufacturers, such as Weberhaus, Fingerhaus. As well as Helma as a large solid construction company and 3 smaller construction companies from the region. Our architect then analyzed all offers down to the smallest detail and made them comparable, such as surcharges, what was already included in the price for some companies or additional costs that would come to us because the construction and service descriptions only gave little information.
The winner was a smaller regional construction company that builds solid stone by stone.
The prefabricated house companies were much more expensive or did not even give a price because our price expectation was too low.
And yes, our price expectation was fully met with small regional construction companies.
