Thank you, I guess I'm not really up to date on what kind of insulated doors are already available. So far, we've always had pure wooden doors, and the connections to the frames were not always completely sealed. I always have an image in my mind that I once saw on TV when a house was explored with a thermal imaging camera. The red spots, which clearly showed the heat loss, were always at the door and window frames.

We also have a wooden door to the main entrance. A lot of heat is lost there, so I am also considering having an aluminum front door installed. These have high thermal insulation. I actually find the Schüco products good.

The front door must be wide. Especially when furniture or similar items are delivered, a wide front door is advantageous. Aluminum doors are good and they are also available in different colors.
