Actually, I do. I was just considering going for a west terrace because I have more open space to the west. My wife also agrees with your suggestion. I wonder if the driveway from front to back isn’t too long? It’s over 30 m after all. But I also see the advantage that the garage doesn’t take up space in the west and is located where it doesn’t occupy a “valuable” area. On the north/east side it’s rather “darker” due to the tall trees and the house’s shadow, so it’s not so perfect as a garden there anyway.

Variant 1 is my favorite. I would move the house a bit towards the west. Is a carport allowed on the street according to the development plan? How high is the house in the south? If the development plan is fully utilized, it is 9 m. That is exactly in the south of your variants and only 10 m away. The development plan does not suggest the location of the house further west for nothing.
